eBooks Info
eBooks Info During COVID-19 Pandemic
One repercussion of the stay at home order has been the closure of bookstores, school and public libraries. A student who reads - fiction or nonfiction - for even 20 minutes a day will benefit academically. It is also an entertaining stress reliever that a student can engage in while quarantined. So, where can you get FREE books for middle schoolers online?
Many publishers and book dealers are providing free access to eBooks and audiobooks for a limited time. Others, such as the Livonia Public Library and MEL.org are always available to Livonia residents.
Thank you to Anna McGuire, Emerson Middle School for compiling information for this page.
I have more curricular resources on my webpage which can be accessed by clicking here. If you would like help finding materials, please email me at mwolffe@livoniapublicschools.

JLG DIGITAL
If you visit JLG Digital and scroll down just a bit, you can see JLG Digital from Junior Library Guild. There are three "streams" here: Elementary, Middle and High School. There are around 50 books (both fiction and nonfiction) here. But be careful! The books "expire" and new ones show up. There will be a notice if the book is near the expiration date and when some books do expire, new books will show up. So every month, you will see some new books!
